Terms & Conditions
The terms that apply when you create an account, build, buy or publish an invitation with EMS Event Management.
Last updated: 2 October 2026
1. About these terms
“We” and “us” mean EMS Event Management and its operator. “You” means the account holder or the person who buys and uses EMS Event Management. “Guests” means the people who receive or open your invitation.
By creating an account, buying a package or using the service, you agree to these Terms & Conditions, our Privacy Policy and our Returns & Refunds Policy. Together they form one agreement.
2. Your account
- You must be at least 18, or have a parent's or guardian's consent, to open an account and make purchases.
- You can register with an email address verified by a one-time code, or sign in with Google. Your account details must be accurate and your own.
- You are responsible for keeping your password secret and for everything done in your account. Contact support@ems.com straight away if you think someone else has used it.
- We may restrict or suspend accounts used for unlawful activity, fraud, harassment, or sending messages to people who have not agreed to receive them.
3. What we provide
EMS Event Management is a digital invitation platform for weddings, birthdays, holiday greetings, personal invitations, company events and other occasions. The service includes invitation designs, a personal invitation link for each guest, RSVPs and wishes, a photo gallery, a location map, a guest list, a planning checklist and other features depending on your package.
Which features you get depends on your active package and can differ between designs. A feature not listed for your package at the time you bought it is not part of that purchase.
4. Packages and access
Free Trial (Coba Gratis). You can build and preview an invitation at no cost. A preview is private and cannot be shared with guests until the event is activated with a package.
Event packages (Lite, Premium, Done for You). A one-time purchase for one event, valid for 365 days from confirmed payment. Event packages are not subscriptions: nothing renews or charges you automatically. Guest, photo and automatic-email limits, designs and other features follow what was shown on the pricing page and at checkout when you bought. Later changes to a package never reduce what a paid order already includes.
Early Access. While the programme is open, you can claim one free active event per account, valid for 365 days from the claim, with a limited number of places. Early Access does not include automatic emails or preparation by our team. We may close the programme to new claims at any time; claims already active stay valid until they expire.
Subscriptions. If we offer subscription plans for organisers or vendors, their limits, period and renewal terms are shown before you pay.
5. Prices and payment
- Prices are shown in Indonesian Rupiah. The total you pay, including any promo-code discount, is shown at checkout before you pay.
- Payments are processed by our payment provider, DOKU, using the methods offered on its payment page. We do not store your card details.
- Your order is activated automatically once DOKU confirms the payment. An unpaid order activates nothing.
- Promo codes are subject to their own conditions and cannot be exchanged for cash.
- We may change prices and packages. Changes never apply to orders that are already paid.
6. The Done for You service
With the Done for You (Terima Beres) package, our team sets up one design of your choice and adds the text, photos, music, location and event details from the materials you send.
- We aim to deliver the first draft within 2 working days after payment is confirmed and all materials have arrived. This is a target, not a guarantee; late materials or approvals move the schedule.
- Two rounds of minor revisions are included. Custom design, domains, rush work and extra revisions are charged separately once agreed.
- The invitation is only published after you approve it. You remain responsible for the accuracy of what you approve, and you can keep editing it yourself while the package is active.
7. Publishing and how long it stays live
- An invitation can only be published while its event has an active package or Early Access. Anyone with the link can open a published invitation.
- You can edit your invitation while the package is active. We notify you before it ends.
- When the package ends, the invitation stays reachable for 14 more days, then it is archived and no longer public. Event photos are deleted 30 days after archiving.
- Download your guest list, RSVPs and anything else you want to keep before then.
8. Your content
The photos, text, music, guest lists and other material you upload remain yours. You give us a limited permission to store, process and display them as needed to run the service and show your invitation.
You confirm that you have the rights or permission for everything you upload, including photos of other people and music. Content that breaks the law, infringes copyright or privacy, or is indecent is not allowed and we may remove it.
Guest wishes appear only after you approve them. If you let guests upload photos, you are responsible for reviewing them.
9. Guest data and messages
- You are responsible for the guest data you enter and must have a lawful reason to contact those guests.
- When you share your invitation from your own WhatsApp, or send invitation emails through our service, you are the sender.
- Automatic emails are only available on packages that list them, up to the package quota. The quota belongs to that event, cannot be moved to another event and cannot be exchanged for cash. Automatic WhatsApp sending is only available if your package lists it.
- We honour recipients who ask to stop receiving messages, and may stop any sending that looks like spam. Delivery also depends on the recipient's email and WhatsApp providers.
10. Gift details (digital envelope)
Your invitation can show the bank account or e-wallet details you enter so guests can send a gift. Guests transfer directly to that account.
We do not receive, hold or pass on gift money, and we charge no fee on gifts. Make sure the account details are correct. We are not responsible for transfers to a wrong account or for disputes between you and your guests.
11. AI-assisted features
- The AI Cartoonizer tool sends the photo you choose to a third-party AI provider for processing. Results may be inaccurate. Do not upload photos of other people without their permission.
- Live support chat may be answered first by an AI assistant. You can ask to be passed to a staff member. The AI assistant's answers do not bind us on refunds, payments or exceptions; staff make those decisions.
12. Intellectual property
EMS Event Management designs, templates, illustrations, 3D models, software and interface elements are protected by intellectual property rights. A package gives you a licence to use them for that event only, not the right to copy, resell, distribute or present them as your own work.
13. Cancellations and refunds
Refund requests follow the conditions, deadline and process in our Returns & Refunds Policy.
14. Service availability
We work to keep the service available but cannot promise it will never be interrupted. Maintenance, outages at third-party providers (payments, email, maps, hosting) or events beyond our control can affect availability.
15. Limitation of liability
To the extent the law allows, our liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us for the related order in the 12 months before the claim arose. We are not liable for indirect losses, the actions of your guests, gift transfers between guests and you, or third-party services outside our control.
Nothing in these terms limits consumer rights that cannot be excluded under Indonesian law.
16. Ending the service
You can stop using the service at any time and ask us to close your account by writing to support@ems.com. We may end your access if you break these terms. Closing an account does not by itself entitle you to a refund.
17. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. We will tell you about material changes through the service or by email. The latest version applies from the date at the top of this page and never applies retroactively to paid orders.
18. Governing law and language
These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Indonesia. Disputes are first settled by discussion in good faith, then through the dispute-resolution channels available in Indonesia.
These terms are published in Indonesian and English. If the two differ, the Indonesian version prevails.
